【Plant Origin】: Ginger (Latin name Zingiber officinale Rosc.) is the rhizome of the ginger plant ginger. It is irregular blocky, slightly flattened, with finger-like branches, 4~18cm long and 1~3cm thick. The surface is yellowish brown or grey-brown, with links, and stem marks or buds at the tips of the branches. Brittle, easy to break, light yellow in section, obvious endothelial annular striae, vascular bundles scattered. The aroma is peculiar and spicy.
