【Plant origin】: Dried leaves of the legume mountain lentil Cassia Acutifolia Delile. Senna is long ovate or ovate-lanceolate, 1.5~5cm long, 0.4~2cm wide, full margin, sharp tip of the leaf, slightly asymmetrical at the leaf base. Senna is a small herbaceous shrub up to 1 m tall.

This product is insoluble in water, benzene, ether and chloroform; Slightly soluble in methanol, acetone and dioxane; Soluble in sodium bicarbonate aqueous solution. Microherb studies have shown that the solubility of this product increases rapidly in water-organic solvent homogeneous systems, up to 30% in optimal conditions.
